Truly a "Sad Day"

I still know every line "My bologna has a first name it's "O" "S" "C" "A" "R"...........

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Oscar G. Mayer, retired chairman of the Wisconsin-based meat processing company that bears his name, has died at the age of 95.

Finally a Day Off !!!

For the last 6 days straight I have faithfully roused myself from sleep at 4:00 am, well before Mr. Sunshine has had a chance to to turn north Texas into a smoldering inferno with temps over 100 degrees. I guess there is one good reason to wake up before the sun...LOL !! After stumbling and fumbling my way to the coffee pot I make my way to the master bath for a quick 10 minute shower, then don the wardrobe of Tom Thumb warriors and set it on cruise control for the 45 minute trek to work. I survived the Fourth of July holiday without incident, though my bones were screaming for mercy (especially the ones in my poor abused feet), managed to make it through Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (which by the way was my 44th birthday) and Wednesday. Now it is time for a much deserved day off! Have Mercy !!!!!
